Hi all!

I'm trying to prepare a PCP deployment with the following architecture:

1) A dedicated monitoring server with pmmgr that runs a pmlogger and a
pmie instance runs for each monitored server.

2) Monitored application servers running pmcd, where I control the
firewall so I can allow access from the dedicated server running pmmgr.

3) Monitored application servers running pmcd, where I don't control the
firewall so I can't allow access from the dedicated server running
pmmgr.

Servers under 3) only accept incoming connections on port 80 and 443.
For SSH access on port 22, I have to use my personal VPN credentials.
Outgoing connections are allowed on all ports, however.

My question is, how can the monitoring server collect the metrics from
servers under 3)? Is there a way to push the metrics to some
intermediate gateway, which would act similar to pmcd so that pmlogger
and pmie can connect to it?

Thanks and best regards,
Tadej
