pmview? pmgadgets?

I was loitering and noticed that the openinventor support appears to be
more widespread now, at least on linux distros (and even src and rpms
from oss.sgi.com).

Is anyone currently playing with getting pmview working from the source
sgi released under the gpl a few years back?

If not, I may have a go.

I am not seriously considering pmgagdets ... I'll leave that to
Jonathan ... 8^)>
