For 35+ years awk data types have been polymorphic ... it comes as no
surprise that Mac OS X has to be the platform that managed to break this

201 - minor change to torture_cache.c and 201.out
system("cat no_such_file") does not quite behave the same way everywhere
with respect to the exit status ... just be more careful in the case
where the file does not exist.

379 - remove non-deterministic output
Depending on the platform and the speed of execution, the line
Sleeping while sproc does the work ... SIGINT to terminate
may, or may not, appear in the output.
