Hello Ken,

This host is being maintained by a hosting company who has their own
means of software management (not RPM) and had updated perl to 5.8.8.

I downloaded PCP-PMDA-1.13.tar.gz from OSS site, compiled it and
installed under /usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.8.8/PCP/PMDA.pm
and /usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.8.8/auto/PCP/PMDA/PMDA.so

The PMDA installed ok, now I need to see if I can get anything useful
out of mysql 4!

[root@server mysql]# perl -e "use PCP::PMDA";echo 0
0
[root@server mysql]# ./Install
