Does anyone have any experience with integrating a pcp-based collection service (i.e. perf data from pmcd) into an snmp-based enterprise management framework, e.g. HP OpenView, IBM Tivoli, CA Unicenter TNG, etc. This would need to export both a MIB and SNMP traps. I'm guessing it should support SNMPv3. snmpd from http://www.net-snmp.org/ looks a likely candidate, but I have no experience of it. Thoughts or recommendations would be appreciated. |
