Oh - also, this person wishing to protect himself from ... himself ... can
also make use of the division of mandatory/advisory metric logging states,
which are conceptually like the immutable bit on files (can't change them
while the bit is set, but you can unset the bit, then change 'em).

So I think we're in good shape here & should go full steam ahead with the
same-uid-gives-full-access-automagically mode.
