mrouted doesnt seem to care. But you are right, that was my own overlook;
infact sockios.h doesnt cause any conflicts.
OTOH, this could be a user-space problem. I have received a couple of
emails from people who say that they have managed to get mrouted compiled
just fine without the kernel patch using:
ftp://parcftp.xerox.com/pub/net-research/ipmulti/beta-test/mrouted-3.9-beta3.tar.gz
and the debian patch at:
ftp://ftp.debian.org/debian/dists/potato/non-free/source/net/mrouted_3.9-beta3-1.diff.gz
Although i tried the debian patch it didnt help me. Could someone else
try this out?
I use Conectiva (6.0) these days ....
