Any devices that are sit[1..n] are for the client side of the connection.
sit0 is reserved for the server side of the tunnel.  So, if you just have
one machine tunneling into an existing host and do not need to serve another
tunnel from it, you do not need sit0.

i wonder what the idea behind the network interface "sit0" is.
i created my tunnels without it, and it works fine.
