A "catastrophic Host error".  Receive underruns on both NICs, caused by
the host reading data faster than the NIC is receiving it.  That's a new
one.

This is a different machine, I assume?  Is there anything in common
which could cause them to play up?

I'll send you a few other drivers to try..
