Shit! The same story is with all the struct msghdr.

Then change it. Only together with msghdr. Types of msg_namelen,
msg_controllen and cmsg_len must coincide and be socklen_t.
Changing only cmsg_len you will create real mess.
If your statement about recompilation for glibc2.2 is truth
(I suspect it is not yet 8)), it is not more harmful.


BTW, I have seen several days ago in a russian newsgroup
stormy discussion. The people argue that "Sparc 64bit userland"
simply does not exist. 8)8) Imagine, people using redhat, are _sure_,
that linux is not able to run 64bit applications, even not saying about
compilation and preparing 64bit binaries. 8)8)
