kernel compilation

Hi,
  while compiling kernel 2.2.10( make bzImage ), got the following error at
  the end. 
   

tools/build -b bbootsect bsetup compressed/bvmlinux.out CURRENT > bzImage
make[1]: *** [bzImage] Error 139
make[1]: Leaving directory
`/usr/src/linux-2.2.10/linux/arch/i386/boot'
make: *** [bzImage] Error 2

 Can someone see a problem there ? Please respond.
