Dear Sirs,
I am working on a machine in which it is
installed Linux 6.0 with Kernel 2.2.16 (supports IPv6).
Inside the Ip6.h file located in
/usr/include/netinet/ip6.h, there are features of the old Standard for IPv6
Header Structure, like, for instance, TOS field with 4 bits instead of
8.
I tried to install the latest version of glibc:
glibc-2.1.92-5.src.rpm in which there are a lot files like
/usr/include/netinet/ip6.h but I get an error message.
I typed:
#rpm -i glibc-2.1.92-5.src.rpm
"Only packages with major numbers <=3 are
supported by this version of RPM"
So, I downloaded the last version of
RPM: rpm-3.0.4-0.48.src.rpm but it seems to be not installed
because I got the same error.
Would you be so kind to help me to get the new
files contained in glibc?
Thank you in advance.
Riccardo
