FYI, version 1.1 of Linux kernel spinlock metering is available.  This
version supports an enhanced mode of data gathering -- recording "hold"
times (mean and max), in addition to version 1.0's mean "wait" times.
Also, "wait" times are reported with both mean and max values.

A compatible version 1.1 of the lockstat command is also available.

Patches are available against the 2.2.12 and 2.3.18 kernel sources.
