Yes, 2.4.4 would be the right kernel since latest lkcd is available on
this. Apply kdb patch first(as it has more files than lkcd) and then lkcd
patch. If this the order, I have seen that only some 4 hunks fail, which
can be easily fixed manually.
Note: The same should also work for 2.4.2 kernel.

Subject: how to apply kernel patch for both lkcd and kdb ?
Hi,
I am interested in installing both kdb and lkcd on linux
box running RedHat 7.1, kernel 2.4.2. Has anyone done
this ? I know I might have to upgrade kernel to 2.4.4
in order to apply the patch. The question is which order
I need to apply the kernel patch ? I think the patch
assumes to apply on the clean kernel source. Anyone
has any suggestion on this ?
