I'd like to start releasing the LKCD kernel patch as part of the base RPM and/or include it alongside the release. The whole point behind moving to number synchronization between the kernel patch and the RPM/tar.gz is to make sure things are in line. If the kernel patch is released in the lkcdutils RPM/tar.gz, this becomes much easier. Is this a problem for anyone, especially those rolling their own distributions? If it is, let me know, as I'm flexible. --Matt |
