I'm working on it.  I just got 7.1 installed.  To get this
to work, you just have to turn off smp_send_stop() in both
panic.c and arch/i386/kernel/traps.c (the places where the
patch adds the code).

I'm considering someone's workaround, or just to comment out
the disable_local_APIC().  Not sure what the right thing to
do is yet.
