Hello,

I was trying to run a 2.4.0 kernel with lkcd and kdb.
Has anyone tryed this? The stack for the process that
crashed the kernel (crashnow) is empty.

I modified the die function in traps.c:

void die(const char * str, struct pt_regs * regs, long err)
{
 unsigned long flags;
 console_verbose();
#if defined(CONFIG_KDB)
 (void) callout_dbfunc(&dblist_die, regs, err, -1, (void *)str);
#endif
 spin_lock_irqsave(&die_lock, flags);
#ifdef CONFIG_VMDUMP
#ifdef __SMP__
 smp_send_stop();
#endif
#endif
 printk("%s: %04lx\n", str, err & 0xffff);
 show_registers(regs);
#ifdef CONFIG_VMDUMP
 dump_execute((char *)str, regs);
#else
#if defined(CONFIG_VMDUMP_MODULE)
 if (dump_function_ptr) {
  dump_function_ptr((char *)str, regs);
 }
#endif
#endif
 spin_unlock_irqrestore(&die_lock, flags);
 do_exit(SIGSEGV);
}

Any suggestion will be welcome.
Thanks

- Guy
