Thanks Ralf.

I still do not have the machine here connected to the network in Eagan ..

I am going to seek Chad's help to merge the files.

As far as I know the changes for Little Endian has been isolated in the
.h files .. we have some hack in there for MAC address but rather isolated
a merge should not be that bad.
