I recently reported to some people that I had big problems running rpm on my diskless Origin. rpm is behaving ok on my Origin when running from local disk. It's also running ok on my laptop when I nfs-mount something from localhost. I therefore assume it's a special interaction between rpm and IRIX as nfs server. Ralf |
