Has anyone tried to compile an i386 kernel using the linux-mips64 CVS
sources? I'm just starting that process now and am seeing a compile
error in drivers/block/floppy.c. Are these sources *really* supposed to
be 2.3.99-pre8? Maybe I should just download a clean copy of
2.3.99-pre8, if I can find it. My goal is to be able to do an
apples-to-apples performance and behavioral comparison of an i386 kernel
vs. a mips64 kernel. I don't want to waste time chasing 2.3.99-pre8
mips64 performance problems that are general 2.3.99-pre8 problems.
