Hi all, I am using fedora 2.6.5 kernel. I tried to install kdb by applying the patches on the oss.cgi.com but could not do it. As there is no support for gdb on fedora distribution, I am thinking of building a custom kernel with kdb support from 2.6.5 vanilla sources available at kernel.org. I want to run this kernel on my fedora box. Will running a vanilla kernel on a fedora box cause any problems? Thanks for paying attention.
