Patch included, will be stripped from the
list btw, wait for it to get posted...
Some synching to Keith's changes, also I
incorporated Jim's backtrace code, thanks Jim.
I am still equipment-poor (changing in a week), so
this has not really been adequately tested, all who
wish to do so feedback is welcome.
