There is a Unix implementation of acme called wily, uses
athena widgets(ugh) but is heavily extendable using scripting
languages like python and tcl, and executes any string selected
is you use the right mouse button, and opens it if middle mouse button.
The meanings of execute and open are context dependent, and could be folders
and programs.

While we are throwing around ideas, jpython could be used to extend jessie
for scripting of debugging activities. Jpython allows python access to java
classes with NO additional code. A set of classes-methods would have to be
identified in jessie as being useful for scripting, and public methods
from there will be accessible to python.(see www.jpython.org).
