Sorry, I was out of the office for two weeks. It seems that I created the wrong
impression I had gotten everything to work on Solaris. That is not the case. I
was able to change the code in a way that made the compiler accept it
syntactically, i.e. no more compiler errors. Now I am turning to linking and
after that to functionality. I will keep posting to this list when (if) I make
progress.
