May I ask some questions about how to compile the fam program in C?

Would you please tell me the compile order to compile it?

I use the following orders:

gcc famprogram.c -L. -lfam -o famprogram

and

gcc famprogram.c -L. -lfam -lc -o famprogram

They do not work.

What is the correct order?

I use fam2.6.8. Before I compile a program, what should I do?
