I would reccomend you to download the source RPM from rawhide (availible
here http://people.redhat.com/alexl/RPMS/fam-2.6.6-1.src.rpm) and take a
look at the patches in it too:
fam-2.6.6-dnotify.patch is an updated dnotify patch
fam-2.6.6-changed_race.patch fixes some of the one second mtime
resolution race
fam-2.6.6-epipe.patch fixes a warning that Kde tends to trigger a lot that
can fill up your logs.
(just run rpm2cpio and then cpio -i on the srpm to get the files)
