Ok this is what I get when I install and this is the problem I ran into when
I tried toinstall it last time I just quit and didnt care to get things
going..... Ok here it goes:
I do rpm --rebuild fam-xxx
at the end of the rebuild I get this....
+ cp -pr ChangeLog COYING INSTALL INSTALL.rpm README TODO
/var/tmp/fam-2.6.4-root/usr/share/doc/fam-2.6.4
+exit0
PreReq: /bin/sh
Requires portmap xinetd >= 2.1.8.9pre15
Processing files: fam-devel-2.6.4-root/usr/share/man/man3/fam-3x.gz
Requires: fam = 2.6.4
And there are no rpm files in my usr/src/RPM/RPMS/i586 directory.. There
are the sources in the SOURCES directory but I didnt want to install
anything through that....
Thanks

I put newer RPMS at
http://people.redhat.com/alexl/files/
If you fail to just install them, download the source RPM at
http://people.redhat.com/alexl/files/fam-2.6.4-7.src.rpm
Install it an look in /usr/src/redhat/SOURCES and
/usr/src/redhat/SPECS/fam.spec to see how i integrated it with xinetd.
If you fail to install them, could you please send me the error messages
so i can see if there is a bug in the RPMs i can fix.
