Hi,
I have a problem with fam on an SGI.
The message says File Alteration Monitor has stopped responding. This may
cause the background and file manager to be inacurate.
The message on SYSLOG says:
Jul 30 11:06:33 3D:octa2 fam: fd 12 message length 19301 bytes exceeds max
of 10
64.
When I killall -HUP inetd
logout and login after this command, the message take a while to come back.
any suggestions will be much appreciated.
