Actually many well-known products are now including FAM in their 
releases (or at least their development trees).  If I remember 
correctly, this includes KDE, Enlightenment, and Nautilus.

FAM would also appear to be useful for Unix daemons, but I'm not aware 
of any (perhaps except for a few IRIX ones) which support it.

I recently took over Rusty Ballinger's position as the OSS FAM 
maintainer, and I'm sorry to say that the FAM web pages have not been 
updated for quite a while.

I plan to update the FAM web pages soon, and will take this in to 
consideration.

If anyone has a patch they would like me to link to on such a page, 
please contact me.
