It seems like this mailing list is completely dead ...
OpenML is not going to work out in its current form, but melt together
with OpenGL 2.0, I guess ...
I recommend to have a look at GStreamer (http://www.gstreamer.net), but
I'm not sure about how far SGI support has come yet ...
