Hi Jeff,

We are in the process of doing an IRIX release as we speak. Because
of licensing issues, we haven't been able to "open source" the IRIX
version, only provide it via the developer's program (which is "free"
for the base membership). Stay tuned for more information for when
it will be available. (By the way, which IRIX devices are you most
interested in working with?)

[The current dmsdk on the developer's program is a bit outdated,
as it was the first non-NT release. And since then, OpenML has
become a reality.]

In regards to IFL, yes, there has been lots of enthusiasm about
providing it open source (or at least "ported" to linux). But it
needs to be "adopted" by someone to work through the source code to
insure that it doesn't contain any proprietary code that we can
not legally open source, and to do the actual work of making it
happen. This is an unbelievable amount to work.

But you are, by far not alone. That is probably up there as #1 or #2
for "most wanted libraries". So I'd assume that it will see the
light of day. And more requests by customers will certainly help
make it sooner!

Regards,
Mike
