Hi,
yesterday I updated my Kernel from 2.4.16
to 2.4.17 (including new modules and building
a new initrd). My 2.4.16-Kernel works fine with
exactly the same configuration (devfs, devfsd(3.1.22),
reiserfs as module in the initrd) and has no startup
problems. But now the new 2.4.17 kernel crashes
during the startup, after displaying a devfs-error message.
the system console shows:
