probeall not understood

Hi,

I'm using kernel 2.3.99-pre6, the devfs patch-v165 and devfsd-v1.3.7.

I used the file in Documentation/filesystems/devfs/modules.conf as a
template for /etc/modules.conf.

However, devfsd complains about not understanding probeall and
bombs.  Obviously depmod and modprobe haven't a clue either.

What did I do wrong?
