Hello everyone! This is my first posting to this list. I have a module which, in __init, calls devfs_mk_dir(usb_devfs_handle,name,NULL); Under many tested kernels including 2.4.18 it works as expected and directory appers under /dev/usb. But on one machine directory doesn't appear in /dev/usb although devfs_mk_dir doesn't return a NULL pointer. So my module thinks everything is ok and goes on with __init. What could be causing this strange behaviour? Best regards and thank you in advance! |
