No, I didn't want to incorporate it into a patch I sent of to Marcelo
until I was sure it worked. And Marcelo has already put out
2.4.17-rc2. I'll send it off to Marcelo, but I suspect he will queue
it for 2.4.18-pre1 rather than 2.4.17-rc3, since it's not a critical
bugfix.
