Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit Sender: owner-linux-xfs@oss.sgi.com Precedence: bulk Ok, there's a new system installer iso at ftp://oss.sgi.com/projects/xfs/download/testing/Release-1.0.1-PR3/iso/ for the new 1.0.1-PR3 XFS code. Again, rsync is your friend here, especially if you got the previous ill-fated iso. Sorry about the bad iso before, Red Hat snuck in some new locales that broke anaconda - so anaconda-7.1 would not build a 7.1 installer. :) The only people who _really_ need this installer are those who had trouble with RAID devices with the 1.0 installer. Everyone else can just upgrade an XFS 1.0 install w/ the new RPMs. But I'll be happy to have several people test this version. There are a couple bugfixes in the installer: - you can't put LILO on the boot partition if it's XFS - choosing to not format an existing ext2 partition won't cause a crash :) - Plus some other misc. fixes from 1.0 that were on the update floppy. Have fun, -Eric
