XFS Linux Quality Assurance
For each release of XFS Linux, the following configurations
are tested:
- variety of hardware platforms
- SCSI
- Fibre Channel
- single spindle disks
- RAID disks
- MD disk volume manager
- LVM disk volume manager
- high memory
- low memory
XFS passed the following test suites:
- fsstress test suite
- Regression Test System (RTS) file system test suite
- fstest (includes large file testing)
- bonnie
- dbench
- dump/restore
NFS testing:
- tested both NFS V3 and V2 over UDP
- tested as a NFS server with a variety of
clients using connectathon basic, special, and locking tests
- tested as a Linux client
