first introduction

  To build, you will need to have the following stuff:

the headers & libraries from the tarball...

  setenv EXTRA_INCS "-I/home/rusty/fsmgr/fs/inc -I/home/rusty/fsmgr/fs/os"
  setenv EXTRA_LIBS -L/home/rusty/fsmgr/fs/lib

To run a server...

irem:/usr/dist

    Installation (as root):

    0. Get SaParam.tar

    1. Add the following lines to your /etc/services file:
    sgi-cmsd        7000/udp        # Cluster membership services daemon
    sgi-crsd        7500/udp        # Cluster reset services daemon
    sgi-gcd         8000/udp        # SGI Group membership daemon
    sgi-cad         9000/tcp        # Cluster Admin daemon

    2. Extract SaParam.tar
            tar xvf SaParam.tar

    3. Install the bin rpms using the --nodeps option
            rpm -i --nodeps cas-1.0-3826.i386.rpm
            rpm -i --nodeps ci-1.0-3274.i386.rpm
            rpm -i --nodeps failsafe-1.0-1810.i386.rpm

you have to make symlinks from /usr/cluster/privbin to /usr/sysadm/privbin
