Initial check-in based on 2.1.5 (SGI IRIX) source tree.

GeneralizedCylinder is a node that represents an arbitrary
cross-section extruded along an arbitrary path, with scales and twists
applied along the extrusion.

See the "noodle" demo program for a program that creates these
beasties.
