The problems described below occur on Linux platforms we tested:
1. Applications which depend on overlay planes will not work because the
current OpenGL drivers on the SGI Visual Workstations 230, 330 and 550
(http://www.sgi.com/workstations) do not support this feature.
2. When viewing certain models using ivview or SceneViewer, switching the
draw style to wireframe will cause the lines to be rendered in a different
color than what is expected.
3. Models which contain colors specified in an array in a SoBaseColor node may
be rendered with the wrong colors. data/models/vehicles/x29.iv is one such
model which demonstrates the problem.
4. Font capabilities used by SoText[23] are currently provided by libFL.a. On
IRIX, libFL.so is provided in the eoe.sw.gfx and eoe.sw64.gfx subsystems. No
other platforms are supported.
5. In the SoXt viewers, pressing the 'Escape' key will not toggle between
viewing and selection modes.
6. apps/samples/widgets/componentTest will crash with a segmentation fault when
invoked with the 'T' option.
7. Arrowheads drawn as cones in a SoTransformerManip may appear squished.
8. Transparency does not work.
