These are the scripts and associated files to support the Samba plugin for Linux FailSafe. There are a number of auxiliary scripts and template files. See the README file for the organization and use of the plugin. The plugin was written for scriptlib2, and is a port of the production IRIX Samba plugin, and includes the latest IRIX bug-fixes as of the date of checkin. Note that this plugin requires scriptlib2.sh v1.4 or later, or the auxiliary scripts will fail "mysteriously".

These are the plugin scripts for NFS servers. They are based originally on the production IRIX plugin, but modified to useand to use scriptlib2 and the Linux kernel NFS server. There is some code to deal with some distribution differences, but it isn't really robust, since we've only tested on 2.5 distributions: RedHat 6.2 and 7.0, and SuSE 6.4

This is the multi-server Apache plugin, written to use scriptlib2. It is almost entirely different than the one it replaces. It is based upon the production IRIX Netscape webserver plugin. It also includes the GUI configuration resource file.

Bugzilla #47, merging assorted patches from Andreas Pisek: - cmond didn't show all options - Fix to apache stop script - if we didn't kill the process, we ought to fail. - The output from 'arp -d' is irrelevant and should be discarded in the IPaddress stop script. - Removing a stray semicolon from FailSafe-mgr/packages/com/sgi/fsmgr/help/Makefile.am - Added flushb.c to the filesystem resource, as this tool isn't available on all distributions (only SuSE appears to ship it by default) While committing, I also noticed some files in the CVS repository which shouldn't be there, mainly Makefiles which are automatically generated. I have removed these too.

Implementing a different fix for bugzilla entry #20: Instead of disabling post processing, use wildcards to include the manpages either in compressed or uncompressed format. Also cleans up the build area prior to rebuilding the package.

Site specific RPM macros (as supplied by various Linux distributions) gzip the manpages and interfere with building FailSafe consistently across all platforms. Small fix to disable the macros in question as suggested by Michael E Brown. (Bugzilla #20)
