Former GM and Treasurer of Global Bank in Asia Pacific: Mr Thierry Mezeret
 
  Thierry Mezeret has spent most of his 30 years career in banking. He was a Trader and Treasurer for 12 years, trading foreign exchange, interest rates and derivatives in several banks’ dealing room, before setting-up the Risk Management department of KBC Bank (of Belgium).

In 2004, KBC sent Thierry to Singapore as General Manager of its local branch, an experience during which he acquired an in-depth view and understanding of the financial needs and challenges of Singaporean mid-sized companies.Thierry is now an independent consultant, conducting training sessions, offering consulting services to Singaporean SMEs, and teaching as adjunct professor of Finance as well as at the Royal University of Law and EconomicsThierry obtained a Master’s Degree in Finance from the Rouen Business School in France, completed with an executive program at INSEAD.
