Thanks guys - much appreciated, managed to mount the drive again and have saved
some more files although I have lost a lot : (
Noob question: Could this have occurred due to me copying too many differing
folders all 100gb+ when I first mounted the drive successfully in knoppix? Or
was this drive just going to go anyway?
