[root@localhost ~]# 
[root@localhost ~]# mount -t xfs /dev/lvm_vg/lvm_lv /nas/
[root@localhost ~]# lvcreate  -s -L 40M -n cwd  /dev/lvm_vg/lvm_lv

that's correct, lv snapshots do their own freezing.
