conventional LV:
[root@f19s ~]# blockdev --getiomin --getioopt /dev/mapper/vg1-data
512
0

thinp LV:

[root@f19s ~]# blockdev --getiomin --getioopt /dev/mapper/vg1-data
512
262144

(Now I see two ways to get the same info.)
