Hallo Justin, thank you for Your prompt answer. I attached the output of my /var/log/messages, dmesg and smartctl to this mail. The partition is on the second drive /dev/hdb6 and in the /var/log/messages file You´ll find some funny kernel output at [Jun 9 20:37:59]. The harddrive seems to be ok to me, it's not very old and when I shoveled some data around today I found no problem.
