The 'd' attribute on directories will be inherited by any new files or directories that are created under it. To start, you'll want to do a recursive set of the attribute 'chattr -R'. Once you set the attribute on the directory, newly created entities will also get it. Be sure to also specify '-e' to xfsdump. Dave |
