Thread-topic: XFS on 6TB systems
Hi. Ive created 2 6TB partitions on our new SAN Eonstore boxes using XFS
linux-2.6.12 as the FS.
Ive used parted to do the partitioning and guid as the partitiontable
type. (mbr = <2TB)

ELLA-Gentoo-scsi-test mnt # cat /proc/partitions
major minor #blocks name

    3 0 195360984 hda
   3 1 56196 hda1
   3 2 987997 hda2
   3 3 194314207 hda3
   8 0 5856660480 sda
   8 1 5856660446 sda1
   8 16 5856660480 sdb
   8 17 5856660446 sdb1

1. Problem 1 is that i have problem umounting 1 of the mounts. Is there
a way to safely umount an XFS FS when there is no usage at all?

ELLA-Gentoo-scsi-test mnt # umount -f /mnt/EONSTORE2
umount2: Device or resource busy
umount: /mnt/EONSTORE2: device is busy
umount2: Device or resource busy
umount: /mnt/EONSTORE2: device is busy

2. Problem 2 is that i cannot get any of the XFS utils to work with

Problem i have is all the utilities for xfs doesnt work at all:

ELLA-Gentoo-scsi-test mnt # xfs_check /dev/sda1
xfs_check: /dev/sda1 is invalid (cannot read first 512 bytes)

Another problem i get is that when i do a xfs_repair i get a segfault.

Its running on a P4 IA32 machine with Linux 2.6.12 kernel with
Lageblockdevice support.
