RH's anaconda folks have already stated that XFS is 100% unsupported, and they have refused to do anything to fix any problems with it, including ignoring my question as to why they're shipping XFS support in FC if they have no intention of fixing its bugs.
It might be worth trying - they did add the xfs_freeze patch (which doesn't work most of the time), even though RedHat say anything to do with XFS will be automatically marked 'WONTFIX' - see:
You never know, they might be willing to accept a patch that fixes the problem - as it may keep people that have this problem off their back ...
If I can get some confirmation from others that this work around does 'fix' the problem, then I'll see what can be done ...
