xfs and an iscsi hba

Sorry one last question and this may be an ignorant one, but I'm pretty
green with iscsi. 

I know there are difficulties with the current stable iscsi software
initiator (4.0.2) for linux and XFS
(http://marc.theaimsgroup.com/?l=linux-xfs&m=109334402602841&w=2) but
for all intents and purposes should XFS run properly over an HBA?
